Hotel Information 

​

Stafford Baseball League has secured blocks of rooms at hotels conveniently located to both the Tournament fields. All teams must utilize one of these hotels for the duration of your stay per Babe Ruth Headquarters. Teams may check out upon completion of their tournament trail, a 7-night stay is required.

Come on out and meet all 14 teams. Each team will nominate two players to participate in a home run derby and two players in a bunting contest.

 

Mandatory - World Series Parade of Teams

​

Friday, August 4

Arrive at the stadium by 6 p.m.

 

All teams will be announced and walk around the track of the field prior to the Fredericksburg

Nationals vs. Salem Red Sox game. This will be the official opening ceremony for the World Series. All players and coaches will be provided a complimentary game ticket from the Host, Stafford Baseball League. There will be a fireworks display following the game. All teams are asked to participate in the parade. You are not obligated to stay for the entire game.

Daily Fan & Tournament Fan Pass/Tickets

Manager, coaches and players will be provided team credentials which will allow access to all games throughout the duration of the tournament. The Fan Pass doesn't include access to the Fred Nats game Friday, Aug.4. Game tickets must be purchased separately. 

​

All parents, friends and fans will be required to purchase tickets to attend one or more games throughout the tournament. Daily Fan Passes are $10 a day, per person. Children under five do not need tickets.

​

A discounted Tournament Fan Pass can be purchased which provides access to all World Series games throughout the week (Aug. 5-12). The cost of the Tournament Fan Pass is as follows:

​

  • $40 per person on or before midnight onJuly 30

  • $50 per person on or before Aug. 5

  • $60 per person on or after Aug. 6

​

•All daily and tournament passes must be purchased ONLINE on the Tickets page of this website.

•All tickets must be printed in advance or available via a smart phone.

•Tickets are being sold on the Fredericksburg Nationals ticket platform, therefore, the receipt will be from Fredericksburg Nationals

  • Pass does NOT include a game ticket to the Fredericksburg Nationals on Aug. 4.

•There will be no cash ticket sales at the parks.

Stadium & Park Rules

​

•Each team can bring in one large team cooler into the dugout prior to each game.

No weapons of any kind

•No drugs or drug paraphernalia

•No underage drinking

•Smoking and Vaping in designated areas

•No pets permitted other than service animals

​

Additional policies for games played at Virginia Credit Union Stadium:

•Only clear bags are permitted, with the following exceptions: clutch bags measuring 5’ X 7” X ¾” or smaller; diaper bags measuring 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller; ADA/medically necessary bags measuring 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller.

•All bags are subject to search

•Purchases throughout the ballpark are credit/debit only

•Riding on shoes with wheels are prohibited

​Team Travel

​

Babe Ruth League, Inc.’s rules, regulations, and policies have been created, reviewed and revised over the past seven decades to ensure a safe, fun, and healthy environment for all children. For those who make it to the pinnacle of the tournament trail, our top priority is to ensure the players, coaches and managers are provided with the best options to enjoy the World Series experience. It should be noted that Babe Ruth League pays quite a bit of the expenses, as well as secures sponsorships, to achieve this goal.

For team travel assistance, only the Team Manager should contact jessica@baberuthleague.org. Please be sure that your Tournament Roster is SUBMITTED and APPROVED prior to contacting Jessica for travel assistance. As soon as your travel arrangements have been finalized, we ask that you contact Babe Ruth League Headquarters and the Host Tournament Director so that we are aware of when your team will be arriving at the World Series site.

World Series Player Registration - DEADLINE EXPIRED

Look for an email from Babe Ruth League that contains a special link to register your players for the 2023 World Series. This is a simple online registration that will give you a chance to review and correct any name spelling issues, provide uniform sizing information, and provide biography questions that may be used in media events for the World Series.

Complimentary World Series Uniforms- DEADLINE PAST

Thanks to our partnership with Augusta Sportswear, the Official Uniform of Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball, your team (players, manager and coaches) will be supplied with a complimentary uniform, consisting of a cap, jersey (containing the official BRL and World Series emblems), pants, socks, and belt, that must be worn during World Series games and other activities.  (Although Babe Ruth League is supplying uniforms, you must bring your own team’s uniforms in case of any unforeseen circumstances. As a reminder, each team member – players, manager and coaches - must have a different number on their uniform shirt and must wear the same type of uniform, including baseball pants.)  At the conclusion of the Regional Tournament, the team manager will receive an email with detailed instructions, links to the online order form and important deadlines regarding World Series team uniforms. Babe Ruth Headquarters office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET via phone at 1-800-880-3142.
